It's like modern Far Cry but worse and with less variety. Game gets stale very fast, I recommend just bolting through the main missions and ignoring the side content like bases and such as much as possible. It is a bad Halo game and the dull open world setting doesn't work at all.
If you want a mindless game with good gunplay, fun grappling hook and don't mind pretending it isn't a Halo game, get it on sale like I did. Oh and make sure you have a modern PC because the performance isn't great for the lacklustre visuals on display.

I recommend you pick up the Master Chief Collection which is cheaper, has more content that is of higher quality and even looks better despite the games being over a decade old.

An absolutely beautiful gem of a game. They nailed the atmosphere and visuals which help propel the basic but fun gameplay to great heights. Some of the puzzles really had me scratching my head! Solving them was very satisfying.
Definitely recommend! 10/10

Really fun game to play casually with friends.

Gunplay is satisfying and the game looks great! Performance is perfectly fine on my end. As far as I can tell, cheating doesn't seem to be a huge issue, on Asia servers at least.
The game is free to play and not pay to win, cosmetics are the only monetisation.
As for the game being "dead", I get matched under 30 seconds so haven't found that to be an issue.

Balancing and new content seem to be the primary issues.

Atrocious stutter which completely detracts from any semblance of fluidity, I thought they would've fixed the game but didn't realise this was an EA title (which goes with the trend: Dead Space Remake, Jedi Survivor, Wild Hearts, WRC). Even with a shader pre-compilation step, the game constantly stutters, no matter the settings you select. Might be traversal stutter, caused by bad asset streaming or an incomplete shader pre-compilation step. I don't know and I don't care at this point. Stay away even on sale. Refunded.

Pretty fun game so far but the port is questionable at best. Use Flawless Widescreen and play the game on DirectX 11 to have a smooth experience. I'm able to lock it to 120 fps at 1440p on my PC and it is amazing!
The game is basically the PS5 version and any upgrades from that version need to be done using mods like I suggested.

Some issues I have with the game so far are the textures and dialogue. Some of the textures look worse than PS3 era textures (not an exaggeration) and the dialogue plays out like a really bad fan fic at times.

It's not an Arkham game, but its fun. Get it on sale.

PS: Performance issues have been fixed for the most part, just turn off raytracing. It barely adds anything to the visuals and eats CPU performance while barely using it.

What a phenomenal game. From the beautiful visuals, soundscape, story and satisfying gameplay, Jusant is a compact artistic masterpiece. It lasts the perfect amount of time while introducing new mechanics and challenged throughout the course of its runtime. Highly recommend it, even at full price.

PS: This game is on Unreal Engine 5 but does not suffer from any shader compilation stutter. Performance is very solid and scales incredibly well while keeping the core of its visuals still striking.
