The best thing about this game is the difficultty curve. It starts easy, you smelt some ore, no way you will ever run out of space, suddenly its night, plastic production is low and you need to figure out how to route more coal to it to support the growing production area. Then its suddenly afternoon and how in the hell are you supposed to manage to transport all the stuff to the rocket. Suddenly its a week later your family is having an intervention to get you away from cracktorio, but you missed it because you are almost at the one rocket per minute mark.

In short, if you have time, download the demo, try it out. if you dont have any time, try it too anyway, factorio will teach you to optimize everything, including timeusage only to eat it all up anyway :D
