My pronouns are I/Me. Because all that matters is that I am me.

I'm not going to be part of the community tab or your pointless dramas. I'm focusing on my health both physical and mental and I won't get dragged into pointless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Yeah, I heard about the CEO that got killed. I've also noticed that it took that for people on both sides to wake up and realize that the pundits they rely on have no interest in informing them, that the same pundits are part of the ruling class and have an interest in keeping the people at each other's throats.

In other words, I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right this entire time. Again. :lilacstare:

A lot of problems in life start from within. Listening to other people telling you that all of life's ills can be blamed on a certain group of people isn't going to bring you the happiness you want. It isn't going to make you feel any better at the end of the day. In order to do that, you must first work on yourself.

The media you consume daily, the people you hang around with, the places you visit... the food you eat, the drinks you drink... it all has an effect on your mind. If you're not happy, if you're miserable , make changes to your routine. Find new things to watch, stop watching the news, find new people to hang out with, find new places to go... eat healthier foods, drink water and if you can... exercise.

And I know some people are going to roll their eyes at me and say, "Easy for you to say, you're probably rich". I'm below the poverty line. You don't have to make radical changes to eat healthier, swap white rice for brown rice, eat more vegetables, if you can get em, bananas are inexpensive, they're a great fruit to be mixed into just about anything. Just try to veer away from foods loaded with added sugars.

As for exercising, you don't need a gym membership or some expensive weights. I bought me some resistance bands and a weighted vest because I live in an apartment. I literally don't have the space for large exercise equipment, and you know what? Resistance bands hit you just as hard as weights do as long as you are using them properly. And don't say that you don't have enough time. I work out three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 15 minutes of intense workout. I know you got 15 minutes to spare and resistance bands allow you to do a large variety of exercises you'd normally need a full on machine for.

Being happier and being healthier starts when you stop saying "I can't" and start saying, "I can". Take me for example, a month and a half ago, doing 15 pound curls was a dream for me. I'm doing 100 pound curls. Because I broke through those mental barriers I had set up. Now I ain't saying, "Go out and do 100 pound curls with free weights or resistance bands", gods no. But I became happier because I did choose to eat healthier, I chose to drink water, and I chose to work out. Those were choices I made for the betterment of myself and sure, I've still got a fair bit of adipose tissue to lose, but over 210 pounds of my weight is pure lean tissue. I'm happier and I'm healthier... and you can be too. You just have to choose to get out of what feels comfortable because it's familiar, and step into the unknown.

Welp, all of my problems are solved. I've beaten the entire Metal Gear series with one bullet.
