Not too fast paced and yet not too slow paced but just right. One run will never be the same as the next considering the characters available and their customization, randomized level selection, randomized boss and mob spawns, a loaded or lacking arsenal, and hidden levels to explore. There is a healthy amount of content and unlockables to reward a hard earned trophy collection for a game that isn't even fully released as of this moment. You can go all in fully focused or you can lean back and give your foot a rest on your chair while enjoying your time playing Risk of Rain 2.

Call of Duty? Modern Warfare? Or any other competing FPS? Never heard of them.
