Absolute riot of a game. A true gem of an indie game. It's super fun with friends in coop especially, albeit a little clunky with some UI and management stuff, but still thought out well enough that it's not an issue. Tons of content to go through and game modes actually change things in fun ways to keep the challenges and fun at a high level for a while.

Definitely grab this if you're thinking it could be fun - it surely is.

A hoot and a holler, eh.

Probably one of the best games that came out in the last 5 or so years that is intense and fun coop. Hordes of enemies, tons of objectives, and loads of friendly fire mishaps that are most of the time funny and add to the charm of the game.

The debacle with the PSN enforcement by Sony has been quenched for now, and the community has shown what it is to vote with their wallets. Special thanks to the PlayStation side of the community joining in on the conversation and backing the PC players. They went very hard on the protest, to a point where people cancelled their PSN subscriptions and showing Sony that it is wrong to do what they wanted to enforce.
Absolutely amazing to see a community unite under one banner and pushing back against predatory policies shoved in by publishers.

Arrowhead Games Studio are amazing people. From the CM's to their CEO. They have been real and decent people to their players. I wholeheartedly hope that this is the last of the anguish they have to endure and will be able to continue their cadence of updates, bringing the players joy and excitement as the story develops and the game matures.

Runs good. Looks great. Gun play is decent. But that's about it.

Just like in Battlefield games the "balance" is as usual 1 God-build and everything else sucks it's ♥♥♥♥ and balls. I think smashing the "randomize me weapon stats" would do a better job than this "e-sports" title. It's a very well polished slice of excrement.

There's barely any point in diversifying. At any point in time there will be 1 build that crushes everything. No if's or but's. Same as it was with Battlefield 3 and onwards. It's the same game design as those games. Very poorly made, barely tweaked, and scaled towards one specific way of playing. Kill the game. It has very little potential with the game design team that is still living in 2010's.

Games sold as Single Player titles should have offline capabilities. They should not have Always Online features. It is appalling how disconnected the companies are from their clientele.
As long as the product is sold and non-refundable, they are good. If the patch doesn't come out for the game that is being taken down just because Online features and upkeep of the servers are not feasible things for the company, it will clearly show there the interest lies.

People get it, keeping up with server payments and infrastructure is costly and doesn't get cheaper, but if you pull a license from paying customers just like that, I really hope people will take notice and never buy anything from them going forward.

I won't, and will do my best to advise everyone I can to steer clear from companies like Ubisoft and Electronic Arts.

And I really do hope companies that feel that it's an okay thing to do to their customers will implode and close up shop. It would suck for talented people who work on good games, but they are not the ones that profit from their own creations.

Edit: If anything, it would be somewhat of a fun time to pirate games of the said company to enjoy them for free. And without the constant worry that the library I've spent money on will go AWOL because some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a suit made a call. I'm more than happy to pay for games I play, but the sad reality we all worried about for about a decade and a half start to creep in - If it's not Physical, don't buy it. I'm sure there will be more and more precedents like this and the big companies will hide behind "anti-piracy drm" argument with their Always Online ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as well.
I guess it's about time we dust off the old consoles and revisit some second-hand marketplaces for games we like.

Story, Action, Loot.
Don't have to say why this game is good. Just play it. Larian did an excellent job with this game.

Big Sad. Had potential back when it was in early access stage.
Now that it's "released" it's still rough around the edges and feels impeccably dated to a point where there's no crouching in controls, and walking feels like you're hauling something very heavy, and the viewport jitters like crazy (if you get motion sick easily, be warned).
It has some good ideas, a bit of fun trying to figure out some building plans and stuff and the inventory system is something different. But the lack of quick take/drop hotkeys force you to drag and drop items back and forth.

It has some cool bits about the game, but it becomes very dull very fast, and feels somewhat empty for the most time, until you get enemies spawned in near you to "keep you on the edge".

Sad to see it didn't pan out still, likely it never will. The new dev team should scrap the game for parts, get the best ideas from this (which there are a few) and start over. It can be something good, but not with what has been packed in this game as it is :(

Probably the most relaxing game with a lot of tension when it needs to be. Long hauls and great music. Very different from everything else I've played. Not regretting the purchase one bit.
