As for the bug design i think you are over blowing it, both bugs look fine just hd1 bugs are more unique as in they get bigger and bigger and in 2 every bug is just difrent from each other.

The anticheat can delete files on your computer without permission or notification, imagine if you got fired from your job because an important document was deleted. It is not only a matter of privacy but a matter of security. (and saying that you're already giving information is like losing a finger and deciding welp i guess ill just cut the whole hand off)


The bug designs in 1 are much more unique and iconic, the bug designs in 2 are almost ripped exactly from starship troopers

You also did not claim that you yourself had a low end PC

I just refununded it because like in the review i said: I had a low end pc
I think its an improvement or sumplement like it dosent beat out 1 it just is another thing to add to it

Also the bug designs in 2 are better at least in my opinion.in 1 it makes sense up until the charger and the tentacle monster
As for the anti cheat while i think its bad i just dont care about selling my information to companies. I have been doing that for the last 8 years using google im not gonna out of nowhere stop now.

Also big talk about not playing helldivers 2, you yourself have not even played it

Helldivers 2 is generic. The anticheat is invasive malware.

One can call a game generic without playing it, they actively redesigned the bugs from Helldivers 1 to more-so resemble the bugs from starship troopers to draw in appeal. They abandoned previous aesthetics in order to reach a larger fanbase. I am fine with that but it was at the cost of the uniqueness of the game. They also abandoned the top down twin stick shooter gameplay of the first game which is in my opinion of the things that made it most unique.


And it is not just a matter of ”not liking the anticheat” it is a matter of privacy and security. I myself have very personal files on my computer (and i have no doubt the typical people who combat my opinion will say i am referring to porn, i am not) and i dislike the idea of a company not even from my own country accessing and modifying files that do not belong to them.

just say you dont like the anticheat and thats enough to get your point across
