Absolutely killer game. I could go on about how Helldivers 2 has provided some of the most cinematic moments I've ever had in a game, or the absolutely heart-pounding action, or how the game itself looks and feels super tight or the gunplay feels amazing, but none of that matters because the #1 thing this game gets right is the most important thing: The Vibes.

This game has the most immaculate vibes of anything I've played in recent memory. It knows its tone and leans into it with such gusto that you can't help but buy in. The absurdity of every single Helldiver (and clones) getting their own entire destroyer, the pomp with which we step into our drop pods, the swell of the music when we launch to propagate democracy and freedom, everything in this game just fits so right.
