Team Fortress 2 will always be one of my all time favorite multiplayer games.

Despite probably watching more hours than I've played and not being quite good at the game, there is a goldmine of fun for me to indulge in all the time. From playing soldier and hitting speed pogo rollouts to get to the payload, to flanking as scout and crippling the enemy medic, to supporting the team with medic. TF2 offers dozens of options on how to play with each class having numerous side grades to their weapons which changes and even re-contextualizes the entire class. Each class has a WEALTH of options and strategies to learn and master which makes the experience almost entirely tailored to you and learning maps has never been more fun for me than in TF2.

The trading is wonderful with trying to pick up elusive unusual hats and finding really nifty cosmetic sets despite only a mere three cosmetic slots. You can really express yourself in the customization of your class and almost entirely alter their appearance. With community cosmetics taking center stage it feels incredibly comforting to know some of the cosmetics you'll see players use are those our very own community has crafted by hand.

I miss the days of constant updates and while I think valve's neglect of the game is inexcusable, I'm able to find comfort knowing that the community for this game goes strong even 15 years later. I do dream of seeing a new major content update and I thank valve for shaping a majority of my teenage years with their industry defining experiences.

Thank you STER_, Jerma985, elmaxo, Soundsmith, Casperr, Uncle Dane, and LazyPurple for being the community figures I can look upon and laugh at your own innovative ways of making this experience that much better.
