I love Elite Dangerous I really do the sounds of the ship creaking as you fly or the FSD charging to jump to another system or to travel through system or the sounds of the capitals warping in or out is some of the best sound designs I've ever heard in a game. The Visuals of planets or the feeling warping in to a sun feeling your whole screen to flying through the rings of a gas giant with nothing but you and the emptiness of space there is nothing more spectacular.

I loved elite I really did, I still do but there is just one thing that I just can't stand anymore with it and its the Nerf's the endless nerf after nerf to credits Core mining was amazing I loved to do it hearing the asteroid explode and the ship rumble and creak to the cockpit glass freeze over if its icy. I loved to do it and the credits where worth the risk of blowing yourself up if your to close. the Cores you needed where hard to find sometimes but was exciting when you found one as it was a gold mine but not anymore they nerfed it as it apparently was to much credits and wasn't just a little nerf no they killed it and the fun with it.

Then they nerfed other things as well and it just keeps happening then comes the cost of buying ships its ok to start the prices are reasonable but once you get to buying the larger ships then and the cost of fittings the price goes from this is fine to hell no. but hey have fun grinding 24hrs a day 7 days a week from months to get anywhere don't get me wrong there should be some work to get there but its a game and it should also be fun but it used to be but after the nerfs it isn't fun anymore its just work very grindy work FDEV seem content on nerfing things but not boosting anything.

So this is where I stand with elite dangerous. I love it and it will always have a special place in my heart but I can't recommend it and as things stand the future isn't positive for this game unless the devs choose to boost profits or something else to make the grind less boring its not getting better its just not fun I have all the ships I've travelled to the centre and back but I still want to play for fun but it's just not worth it. I hope they can sort this out but they keep catering to the minority of the player base who enjoy the grind and its pushed alot of the other players away and with the latest release it seems the devs are giving up themselves slowly.

I really recommend it for cheap as a tourist and to just experience how detailed it is but be warned it is very, very grindy. its the most grindy games i've ever played but also the most detailed.
