What can be said about PAYDAY 2 that hasn't been said before?

I have a bit of a history with the game, I remember when the game first came out and my parents at the time didn't allow me to purchase M-rated games so my friend lent me his copy for the PS3. The feeling of completing a normal jewelry store job for the first time was the moment I knew that the game had its claws deeply embedded into me. As some might know, the console versions of the game (especially the Xbox 360 and PS3) didn't receive a lot of updates, eventually, I ran through the five levels of infamy available at the time and kept dreaming of the day another update would come. It never did.

I eventually picked the game on Steam to check out all of the cool new content and was only able to run it at a measly 20 FPS. While the game ran terribly, what had been crafted by Overkill was and is so engaging that I pushed past the issues to keep playing. Each DLC introduces more and more content to the game making it more and more addictive to play.

The music originally produced by Simon Viklund, Le Castlevania, Gustavo Coutinho, and Carl Noren has become mainstays in all of my playlists regardless of activity. I hardly need to tell you what I think about the music as its prestige might be more prolific than the game itself.

I guess all this preamble is to give context to how important the game has been to me over the years. I started playing this game when I was about fifteen, and now I'm twenty-five years old... and this is the only game I'm still playing since that time in my life. Through the highs and lows of the game's life cycle (and as we near the end of it once more), this game has been something special.

Here's hoping for the best for PAYDAY 3 and those of you about to heist, "Let's do this."
