I have played the free to play version for well over 400+ hours. Yep. If I have played it that much, then I would say with confidence that the game is good. I'd say that all of the positive reviews are well earned.

Now, the game has been updated to 'Masters Edition'. Not much has changed in the core of the game. You will have a better start as a new player. You will have a better starting selection of Champions to select from. Gone are micro-transactions! All of the extra ship and optional champions skins are now condensed into a single DLC. With the current factions, you a gett the sense of the larger story in this aether-world and it's history.

This game is truely perfect for a quick hit of PvP tactical action with single matches lasting less than 10 minutes, up to at most about 20 minutes. The game is rather easy to learn; but difficult to master. With each growing achievement, you earn more in-game bonuses. So much that chasing achievements feels rewarding, addictive and challenging. There are seasons lasting about 8 weeks on average - in that time, will you be able to reach the rank of Aether Master and be able to earn your name in part of the history of this game?

The game keeps improving with each update, new additions, changing maps, debuting new Champions and evolving new strategies. The community of players and interaction with the developers keeps growing. Communication is good between players and the developers regarding suggestions for possible changes or new developments people want to see in game. Cliffhanger Productions has been busy with Shadow Run Chronicles and this game, *at the same time*. They have proven they can handle developing a game and adding new content for the gaming experience regularly.

What else can I say other than: "Greetings, and welcome to the world of Aerena"!

So, if zombies eat people, and we play solitaire by our lonesome - does that mean we are eating ourselves?!?!

Ok, if you liked Faerie Solitaire, chances are you will like this game.

I imagine that this game will have me for at leats 50 hours once I have pefected each part of it. It does not have all of the features to it that Faerie Solitarie does; but there is plenty here to keep you entertained for hours. This solitaire version does have features to remove stubborn cards or be able to continue sequence of play. In between every couple of levels you get a rather easy mini-point-and-click style story element to keep things moving. If you like solitaire style games and silly cartoon zombies; then this game is for you. Even at $7 you will easily get your monies worth of play time from it. And if you get it from a bundle; then you will even get more value for your buck.

I would not describe this game as rogue-like. It is more of a puzzle game that has rogue-like puzzles.

While it is cute, I found it lost it's charm rather quickly as the puzzles became very difficult fast.

I would blame the mis-labeling of this game in my frustration with it. I came into this game expecting one thing and getting another. If this were something I was looking to play, I would recommend it. As it is now, I say it is nice but it was not and this confusion left me not liking the game. Just be sure to read the other better reviews if you care to pay attention to reviews.

*IF* you are lucky enough to be able to get this game to work on your computer; then chances are you will like this 'twtich' fighting game. Otherwise, you will be sad that you bought another game that will not work on your computer.

To be good at this game, it also helps if you are good at 'zen'-ing out while playing.

They should really named this 'carpal-tunnel death match'... ouch... I am going to go back to playing The Stanley Parable now...

I guess this game would be fun.

But due to lack of support, I cannot get it running on any of my computers.

Well, I would assume this game is great.

But it crashes on startup even after trying all the fixes that are found in the discussions thread.

This game is poorly programmed. It eats up RAM and slows down systems to the point of crashing.

DO NOT BUT it unless you want to destroy your computer.

Quite possibly one of the worst games ever made by Sid Meyer and supported by 2K games.

Do yourself a favor and do not even consider buying this game and do not even accept it if it is gifted to you.

They should never have attempted to export this to PC due to all the graphics problems and crashes.

So far, this game has been fun. Kinda what I was expecting from an RPGmaker game experience. Except, the main character's personality is really rude. I wonder if he will change over the course of the game?

I am about 12 hours into it and am ready to take on the second demon in the storyline.

For me, the pacing of the game seems slow. Stopping every so often for a fight feels like a destraction.

I enjoy clicking on the animals in the game. You get some funny things. I think the best so far is when I 'speak' to cats in the game and the game makes a 'meow' sound. It is this sound that freaks out my cat in real life thinking that there is another cat in the house and she is confused about it.

More details later as I progress through this game.
