Having played this game for a bit I will say that the challenge is ever present when playing even with friends. But pushing through those challenges is what's fun about this game. It has good balance and your goals are what you make them. Besides trying not to starve, die, or lose your sanity. Overall I love the experience this game provides when playing with others, whether against, or with each other.
