A good game, the community is absolutely beautiful
though there will always be a few hackers there and then, they ARE part of the whole experience.
The game's official maps are lush and fun, King of the hill, Payload, control points... and oh! capture the flag! which includes perhaps one of the more infamous Team fortress 2 maps, 2Fort!
There are many events aswell you could try out, during the halloween, comes the spooky and scary SCREAM FORTRESS! usually brings many new maps and fun things as weapon skins aND hats!! everybody loves hats! aka cosmetics.
if that didnt click, you could try and buy the season pass to hunt and complete contracts! you are a hired mercenary afterall arent you? many different missions will give you manieth fun rewards ^^

that's right, during the long years of tf2 there is MvM, Mann vs. Machines! i am sure a good challenge such as the 666 Mode would be rather tempting no~? many maps with varying rewards, though you HAVE to buy a ticket from the TF2 Shop or the Market place, i promise you will have fun times ^^
rewards include Professional killstreak kits, Australium, i said AUSTRALIUM WEAPONS, which basically means gold coated weapons, they are rather pricey aswell, a luxury if you may.
and IF in anyway you would get bored of them ALL... there will always be new and more experiences on the community maps and servers!
such things as Versus Saxton Hale or Freak Fortress, in which you fight an overpowered boss of sorts which is controlled by a player, the bosses have their own unique styles, and almost everyone of them vary with differences.
there are also more things like the prop hunt! perhaps more popular in the Garry's mod than in tf2, but it will still be a fun experience if you manage to get yourself to a place that's just ridiculous :^D
hmm... of course there are many other things that I, as a long time player haven't yet tried, each day of playing this game is really a new experience afterall.
I Recommend Team Fortress 2 the hat simulator with all of my heart to everyone.
