You have to search for coins while running around in this game. You will run out of time and lose the game if you are unable to locate them in time. You'll go to the next level and have to repeat this procedure after you've gathered enough money. It's literally collecting coins in a really small game world... that's it.

This is not an enjoyable game at all. Finding the final coin might be a hard task. Even though this game was provided for free, it is not worth your time. Avoid this trash.

What do we do when we are trapped in a time loop? Drink, party, smoke, and try to avoid loneliness while dancing to techno trance music?

Pros
Cons
✔️ The levels and places have a surreal, oppressive vibe and the art style is simply superb.
❌ There are noticeable places in which the performance could be improved.
✔️ Certain features, such as the dance floor's automated dancing while intoxicated, and several other details are superior to those seen in triple-A games.
❌ In reality, it's a four-location walking simulator with no storyline or objective — just you and a sense of loneliness.
✔️ The conversations with the NPCs are very thought-provoking and have a much deeper meaning most of the time.
✔️ The story is enigmatic and leaves you with many unanswered questions, especially regarding life.

It took me an hour to complete Neyasnoe blind. I don't see any need to play the game again because it lacks replayability and achievements, unless you want to experience the somewhat unique vibe again

Is it worth buying?
Yes, but 10€ is a bit much for an hour of gameplay – or maybe even less – so I would advise you to wait until there is a discount

In-Depth
Story, Gameplay, Exploration & Stats

Neyasnoe is located in four distinct areas inside an unnamed Soviet city. You begin in the suburbs, where buildings and squat dwellings are haphazardly arranged. If you follow the lights, you may end up in ordinary locations like a kebab shop, a bus station kiosk, a nightclub that is bustling with people and music, a bookstore, a small concert, or just regular places. Go explore, engage in conversation, steal, smoke, purchase food, do drugs, pet enormous rats that give you +1 on the Plague stat, and see what else is out there at night, while gaining additional stats for loneliness, reflection and corporeality. We experience a surreal space made for us, akin to a walking simulator, rather than handling guns or anything else.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3099483107

It takes time to discover Neyasnoe's true goal, and I have to admit that it took me some time to figure out what the game was really asking of me, but maybe that's why it's so special? What rules apply here? How am I acting? Why? Hold on, what do my statistics indicate and why do I have them? Why am I capable of doing everything? When I do this or that, what happens? Why does the more I interact with people, the lower my loneliness score is? Does it do anything? Is this individual being truthful? It feels wonderful to not have all the answers even now.

There's a lovely, surreal touch to the world. Talking to strangers might amplify the dreamlike and existential aspects of ordinary conversations with individuals. The city itself has a sense of decay and corruption. The fringes are lined with concrete tower blocks that curve inward like withering leaves, and several of the structures have spiraling hallways that wind around them in strange ways. It might also take place in the future, which would emphasize how dated and worn-out everything appears to be, but that is simply speculation on my part. The truth is that the experience is what matters while gaining some insight; there isn't really a tale to be shared.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100657684

Oh, and Neyasnoe features autodancing, which is a feature I now demand from any video game with a nightclub. When you enter a dance floor when intoxicated, you will instinctively start to dance and wave your arms in front of the screen while you stagger around. It works better than in most other games as well. On the other hand, the performance was sometimes changing, and even if there wasn't much to see in the actual world, there were frequently a few rooftop framedrops. Does this make the game less enjoyable? I don't really mind because I don't play a first-person shooter, but it is noticeable.

Conclusion

Neyasnoe is a bizarre and desolate place that begs you to investigate and yet feels liberated. Even though the experience is brief—you can view all four levels in no more than an hour—it is a universe that begs to be explored. Even though the items you need to complete the level are usually concealed, if you look closely, you can find them easily. In the end, there are a lot of unanswered questions, few answers, and a desolate wasteland of empty emotions. It's visually striking and bizarre, while being a bit pricey. This is a great game to play if you just want to relax and enjoy some bizarre entertainment for less than an hour.

Final Verdict: 8/10 A weird midnight snack, that is quite decent. 💖

I needed one hour to finish Chop Goblins blind, and two hours to finish it 100% via second playthrough. I can think of many reasons to play the game again, particularly if you're trying to unlock all the achievements. For all you achievement hunters out there, all it takes is two playthroughs to complete this game 100%, and a few glances to the left and right.

No, as it can be played flawlessly with KB/M, however it can also be played on Steam Deck, albeit using a controller is also fine.

Without a doubt, and well worth the full price

In-Depth
Story, Gameplay, Secrets & Weapons

You have broken into a museum where in the basement there are wicked monsters known as "Chop Goblins" that are imprisoned in a chest. But now that they're back on the loose, they're causing mayhem in the game world, thus your mission in the shooter's campaign is to find the evil monsters in order to bring back peace.

You explore Transylvania in 1800, Ancient Greece, and a not-too-distant future in addition to traveling through the city where the museum is located. The game may be finished in a single sitting and relies on relatively brief gameplay, so as a result, the developer claims that the campaign can only last between thirty and sixty minutes. Although it doesn't take long to complete, these little levels include an unexpected number of mysteries/secrets. In order to keep you rummaging through your armory and selecting the perfect murder weapon for every goblin you've eliminated, different difficulties offer you variations in enemy types. Everything is rather generous in terms of health and ammo, allowing you to go forward at a decent clip without experiencing too much downtime. The only downside: I had to quit my current playthrough since I can't enter the menu to adjust the mouse sensitivity and various other options. This is bit of a bummer and I would love to see a menu/settings button in his future games.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3097835368

Chop Goblin features five distinct weapon types, five stages set in various eras, different enemy types, as well as leaderboards and awards. Even though five levels doesn't seem like a lot, each one is meticulously made. They are not only well-made in the tasteful, low-fidelity Quake-style visuals that Szymanski has employed in his earlier games, but they are also jam-packed with secret passageways and ways to advance. You may climb the game's built-in leaderboards by searching the surroundings for as many Chop Coins as you can because each level is filled with them.

While I did occasionally get lost in some of the more maze-like areas, everything in the game is generally well marked, making it easy to find your way about and uncover hidden surprises. Although there are no checkpoints in the levels, it's not that annoying to have to restart after dying because they are all quite short. Chop Goblins is a shooter, so even with excellent level design, it wouldn't matter if the shooting wasn't crisp and fulfilling, and I can tell ya: fortunately, it is. It feels fantastic, precise, fast, and just how I had anticipated.

Conclusion

Chop Goblins is a wonderfully quirky arcade-style experience that's a perfect time-killer for a one-time experience. You'll have plenty of reasons to come back with the added difficulty modes, competitive leaderboards, and hour-long gameplay, as well as achievements.

Final Verdict: 9/10 A little yet really nice game. 💖

A remake with so many improvements in terms of quality of life that it should set a new standard for the industry.

Pros
Cons
✔️ The 2.5D approach works nicely and creates stunning scenery.
❌ Some tiresome exploration sections, particularly the final dungeon.
✔️ New character designs bring the 2D characters to life far more effectively than in the predecessor from what I've seen.
❌ Dungeon puzzles are boring and overly simple, and AI can be frustrating at times.
✔️ A well-made battle system with unique specializations, along with a fantastic music, provides for a superb experience from start to finish.
✔️ 99 different endings, 13 characters, and two points of view offer a great replay value.
✔️ Exciting plot with many twists that has aged nicely and plays really smooth.

In-Depth
Story, Gameplay, Combat & SP/BP

Star Ocean: The Second Story R tells the story of Claude C. Kenny and Rena Lanford. Claude, a soldier under his father's command, is abruptly taken away while researching a mysterious dome on an unknown planet. He then awakens on the planet Expel, where he is discovered and carried back by Rena to Rena's village named Arlia. The locals believe that Claude is the prophecy's hero, capable of liberating the country from the horrific consequences of the Sorcery Globe, a magical meteorite that recently impacted the world. Even although he does not regard himself as a hero, he resolves to set off in pursuit of the Sorcery Glove and, maybe, a route back to his hometown. An amazing adventure begins, transporting you to many locales and introducing you to countless personalities.

What The Second Story R has to offer in terms of characters makes the title stand out. Not only may you select whether to control Claude or Rena as the primary character at the start of the journey, but this also gives you alternate viewpoints on the plot. However, you have a degree of control over not only the two protagonists, but also all of the other characters who accompany you on your quest. Your party can have up to eight members, and you have the option to accept or reject each possible new member. Sometimes the inclusion of one character is a requirement for the inclusion of another, or vice versa; if one person joins your party, another can't be picked. Furthermore, Claude and Rena each have a unique character roster who can only join dependent on your protagonist's selection. This allows you to personalize your playthroughs and give characters a second opportunity who may have previously slipped through your fingers.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3079448225

As you go through the mystical world you should not only follow the main story, but also explore the world and get to know its residents. In cities, so-called Private Actions serve this role. In this mode, your main character travels alone across the towns and villages and you can learn more about your allies by speaking with them. You can make decisions that affect at least one of the game's endings from time to time. Furthermore, fresh events are constantly presented on your map so you don't miss any. There are also several side quests that are not only nicely written but also have the potential to pull in additional team members. Some events, however, are only available for a limited period before disappearing, but are always marked with a timer as an additional symbol next to the icon.

The game's combat system is a real-time fighting system that allows players to control their characters in real time. Players can use melee attacks, spells, and special powers during battle. As the game advances, characters change and gain new talents and spells thanks to level ups. The game encourages strategic thinking and selecting the best techniques to defeat various types of opponents. You have four teammates actively fighting alongside you in combat and subsequently choose up to four characters as special attacks. The only issue is that group members don't always behave nicely, and may have to navigate a lot before it becomes too annoying thanks to the sometimes dumb AI. You can also change your tactics in the menu; if you want to be cautious, choose a more defensive stance for the combat. Throughout the game, you will learn several strategies that will offer you an advantage. You will also receive a bonus depending on the formation you chose and what IC (Item Creation) you level.

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3091672888

Groups of enemies appear as a kind of flying shadow in dungeons and on the world map. We can either try to avoid a confrontation by dodging them, running into them from behind to set up an ambush, or running into them from the front, so this obviously results in a battle. The hue of the flying shadow indicates if the opposing group is weak (green), moderately strong (purple), or too strong (red) for us. Of course, I don't want to spoil anything in this review, so I won't go into detail about each skill. However, I'd like to call your attention to a unique aspect of the game. You will gain XP, FOL, BP, and SP after the combat. These can be invested on enhancements, which can be found in the player menu.

The BP is used to increase your combat skills, special techniques, and spells. You select your preferred technique or spell and boost it with BP. To improve your battle skills, you can level up at least 13 skills. There are numerous skills for each character, but you must utilize your points wisely, especially at the start. There are also SP available for crafting and specialization. Crafting allows you to create equipment, items, and other objects. You can learn "customization" for example, which allows you to modify your weaponry. The better the weaponry you can customize in the end, the higher your level in this specialization. You can learn a total of 18 crafting skills and specialties, so the greater the number of characters in your party, the more varied your skills will be.

Conclusion

The game impresses with its myriad vibrant characters and the flexibility to choose which of them you include in your party or not. Although staying faithful to the original and building on its strengths in a focused approach has paid off in terms of graphics and sound design, the developers should have geared themselves more towards current standards in the areas of AI for your team members. It's not uncommon for opponents to drive you insane by spamming status effects or powerful spells and annihilating your team in seconds. The plot is entertaining at every turn, from the lovely artwork to the engaging and well-developed characters to the redesigned battle system. The integration of the rapid and dynamic fighting with the crafting system, in particular, works so effectively that you can't get away from it. Trust me: you're in for a treat. The traditional JRPG framework of little towns, shops, and a globe map on which you gradually create your crew is just timeless.

Final Verdict: 9.5/10 - A masterful remake that should set a new standard for future remakes. 💖

Air Threat is a single-player top-down shooting game in which you fly a military plane to destroy other planes. I do not recommend this game for a variety of reasons, including the following: poor visuals, locked at 22fps, terrible controls, uninteresting gameplay, repetitiveness, and a lack of content (game can be done in an hour, but you have to idle like 4+ in order to get all cards for whatever reason). It's a simple indie game that should be available for free at most. However, the music is somewhat pleasant. 3/10.

If you like Flappy Bird type games then you might find some enjoyment playing this, if not then skip it. You only control the sleigh using the mouse, which kinda seems clumsy with the movement. It also has low replayability with a timegated reward system. Once you collect gifts, you get in-game currency, but it's time restricted how often you can claim them.... why??? Proof:

https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3088733705

The song from the trailer plays over and over again which gets incredibly annoying. Also no real purpose / goals. You can the claimed gifts to buy skins for your character and Sledge, but beyond that there's nothing. (A leaderboard for example would have been a great addition, or perhaps more levels to unlock).

Avoid this asset flip trash.

An expensive diamond in the rough which is fun, but could have used some more time in the oven

Pros
Cons
✔️ Combat is fast and fluid, and it feels satisfying to perform numerous actions at once in order to see large numbers.
❌ Tediously linear dungeons with little to see left and right. It also doesn't help that the voice acting is only in Japanese, which means you can't always read everything said throughout the fights.
✔️ The engrossing worldbuilding and sci-fi aesthetics are superb, and the soundtrack is reminiscent of NieR Automata.
❌ Limited number of enemy types.
✔️ If you can get past the sometimes-clichéd dialogue, you'll find a mostly entertaining cast of characters.
❌ Cutscenes are sometimes very long and dragging.
✔️ Rewarding customization options.
❌ The difficulty ranges from being too easy to outright unpleasant, and the game also demands some grinding near the end.

In-Depth
Story, Gameplay, Tea Party & Criticism

In the late twenty-first century, humanity is on the verge of extinction. Centrifugal Syndrome, an unknown cause sickness, is steadily wiping out the population. At first, we see people vegetating on hospital beds, but following the death of our protagonist, Leben Distel, we find her in an empty chamber, where she is greeted by Enoa. We're now 2000 years after the end of the world in Eden, a space construct, and Leben, like others, has been picked to prove to herself whether she can be human again. Enoa, the benign Deus Ex Machina, develops a digital soul for Leben, one of three digital souls given mechanical life. The first Deus Ex Machina, along with Eden's global order, vanishes just before Leben awakens. Your four protagonists will now set out to defend themselves against the attacking armies, figure out what happened to the other Dei Ex Machina, and gradually improve their humanity, as the amount of humanity in a machine is determined by the number of experience points (ExP spelled E cross P) they have.

Most notably, the game is generally text-heavy. Before or after a mission, we convene over a cup of tea to discuss current affairs or get to know each other better. Tea parties are normally necessary, although some are optional, so they must be held if we want to go on missions again. This also earns us EGO points, which I'll go into later. As a result, the optional tea gatherings are worthwhile as well. After you have viewed all of the necessary tea parties, you can choose from a number of predetermined levels or check out alternative coordinates from the notes you collected in previous levels.

Once a level is selected you gain ExP by killing enemies, which you can use to level up your characters, EGO points, which you can use to improve your individual stats and Enoa's support in battle, and you can collect Sentiments, which are armor pieces, as well as floating secondary weapons called Auxiliaries. On the field, you'll also find personality data that Enoa can crack for loot, such as new weapons and Auxiliaries, as well as EGO points. It doesn't do anything that no other action RPG has done before, but it does bring enough to the table that you can experiment with different customizations. Unfortunately, the actual combat is where things get stale. It's just a shame how much style and unique animation has gone into what is, admittedly, a rather simple battle system because it quickly becomes button mashing with little diversity and the limited number of enemy types doesn't exactly help either.

Now, let's talk about the weapon systems. We have the primary weapon, which is different for each character, as well as head, torso, and waist equipment, and even two supplementary systems. The Auxiliary Systems round out the overall presentation. Shields, Combat, and Interference Weapons are only a handful of the kinds available. Each of these systems is available in varying degrees of rarity, and as a result, they have different status values and gimmicks. What's fantastic is that you have complete control over how the available attack modes are configured. There are also boosters that can only be used once to provide system benefits, such as lowering enemy defenses. This means that each configuration has a different usage factor and that each have a different maximum utilization value per system. If this usage max value is reached, the system enters a cooldown period during which it cannot be used.

When you're not in combat, you'll hang out in the Imitation Garden, a safe, digital space where Enoa can engage in casual conversation with the three heroines. These deal with more mature issues such as the fear that your consciousness has been uploaded into a robot body and what that entails, and I enjoy the characters in CRYMACHINA because they are nicely written, even if they are a little clichéd. But, despite everything these people do, I can't help but believe that they don't fit in as well as they could. There's no doubt that the situation in Eden is serious, but while the atmosphere in Imitation Garden can get a little murky depending on where you are in the story, there's never any real lasting conflict between the cast, and if there is, it's already history or it's broken up by too much comedy.

It should be noted, however, that everything has been dubbed in Japanese, which is not always a good option because there is a lot of chatting in the middle of numerous battles, and in an action RPG, you don't have time to read subtitles to grasp what's going on. An English dub would have been preferable. The background music is also excellent, with the anime opener and another similar segment in particular sticking out. And that, combined with the highly distinct but outstanding art style, is something you don't see very often. It attempts hard to be a character-driven drama about grief and pain as they relate to the subject of becoming human, but the connections between the characters are superficial. And, while CRYMACHINA's beautiful and amazing character designs stand out, they cannot redeem a game marred by dull, repetitive combat and dreadfully linear dungeons. Nonetheless, I see things in this title that I haven't seen in any other title.

Conclusion

CRYMACHINA has a unique environment, fantastic soundtrack, and a really interesting graphic style combined with anime aesthetics that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to do with the same old battles, monotonous and straight dungeons, and sometimes clichéd dialogue. You get to know the people, their likes and dislikes, how they interact with one another, and how Eden works. There are some surprise story twists here and there, but everything is fairly straight forward. CRYMACHINA is a decent action RPG/hack'n'slash if you don't mind a lot of reading and the very simple level design.

Final Verdict: 7.5/10 - Decent yet flawed, and certainly not worth the full price. 💖

Poor quality asset flip. Most likely a template with PNG images placed onto demo entities.
This creator has nearly a hundred more Steam games that look to be templates and asset flips.

The goal is for world leaders to go down and be killed portrayed by signs on sticks with mustaches drawn on their faces. You shoot the arrow at the leaders with your biow and "kill" them and get points (score). There is no story, no meaningful gameplay, and it has one of the worst performances I've seen on an asset flip game of this type.

Avoid this garbage.

You're simply a shoddy spacecraft blasting at stationary colored targets in an unappealing cave. You accept missions, have a few dialogues, and then you have to accomplish the same thing in every level: Kill 200 ships/enemies... that's it. Except for a minor adjustment in the landscape, there is no change in the gameplay.
There's also Nightork Adventures 2 that is completely identical to this one. The gameplay and art are virtually identical.

Avoid this trash.

Cold Blooded Cube is another mediocre, shoddy, mocking project that abuses the genre of 2D platformers. The whole game can be finished within 10 minutes and there is nothing interesting here. We just walk and jump to the door with the Exit sign, regularly pressing the buttons and shooting enemies when we get a weapon.

There are a few small pluses, namely: pleasant soundtrack, labels and explanations of what and how to do at a certain stage, black and white style, responsive controls and self-mockery of the developers (the thing is that when you touch the top platform with your head, our cube usually starts to get "suck" into it until it stands with its feet on this block. So, in one of the achievements, it is actually a requirement to use bugs to achieve a "smile" on the title screen). But despite all the "charms" of the game, it remains a terrible "platformer" and there is no escape from it. "Save" the situation only low price (with a discount), achievements and trading cards - this is the best combo for such "trash games" in Steam. If you are not interested in any of the above, then feel free to ignore this.
