This is a recommendation with a few caveats. It's Dark Souls, again, just remastered. Barely.

If you don't have PTDE, go right on ahead, though you may want to wait a while, for a sale. That is up to you.

The changes are minimal, most notable among them the solid 60. Many have called this "Worse DSFix" but honestly PTDE's fix never truly ran at a consistent 60 for me, and there was hassles with ladders and jumps and such. That's not to discredit the work of the creator of DSFix of course, just my personal experience, and he deserves much credit for making PTDE playable.

Another note, one of my friends has a low end pc, and could not run this at 60. Sadly, the gamespeed is tied to framerate, so you may want to reconsider if you have a lower end PC.

I think whether or not you'll want and like this, like I do, will come down to a few factors.

1. Do you have PTDE?

2. If you do, do you care enough to spend 20$ for a highly revived community?

3. How much mileage do you think you'll get out of the online?

After that, I think for me personally I certainly don't feel like I wasted my cash. Blighttown was made fun for me, and if nothing else, I think it deserves credit for that.

(Note: If you are going to play it, I'd advise against unhollowing until after Undead Burg. Lots of cheaters going around. There's a misconception they can take away your online play without you being able to avoid it, but they can't actually softban you unless you pick up a dropped item, so be wary, skeleton.)

I didn't know PtDE ran at 60 fps. It looked like 30 fps to me. Shaky mouse too, because there was no mouse smoothing.

Dog of a game.
