Mirror's edge catalyst feels like a breath of fresh air like the original ME was in 2008. One of the coolest game you can get right now.

+ pros:

. Great art direction with a distinct visual personality that sets it apart from everything else that's out there.
. Fun, polished and fluid movement gameplay that accurately creates the exhilarating feel of jumping around (or falling), it becomes especially fun when you try to get 3 stars in the time trials.
. The city feels more alive than it's predecessor with better character models and a more detailed and dynamic environment.

- the not so good:

. The story-telling aspect of the game is not gonna blow you away (it's decent tho), i feel like it could have gotten more in depth into the philosophy of the runners and what they are fighting for.
. Side missions are mostly the same: running from point A to point B, it needs more puzzle based platforming parts or fighting / exploring missions.
. No option to disable Depth of Field, but luckily there's a mod for that.
. It needs better multiplayer features, maybe the ability to run and compete in real-time vs other players. (mirror's edge 3 plz)
