Fallout 3 is the story of the Lone wanderer. Fallout 3's plot starts out prity mundane with u looking for ur dad. But soon becomes Story of Retribution and war between the saviors of the wastes (The brotherhood of Steel) and the Black Devils (The Enclave) Its story is the pre curser to the brotherhood story line in fallout 4. In this game u will see why they are called heros in fallout 3 and are there for heros in fallout 4. Fallout 4's brotherhood is a detachment from the capital wasteland. 10years after th defeat of the enclave. Fallout 3 has a fairly well built world with great detail and lots of quests aswell as opertunitys to test ur metal and will to servive. The game can be fairly easy for somone who knows it inside and out. but challangeing to any new comer. There are Legendary weapons that u can come across in ur travels. and they are often guarded. It has mod compatablity and overall is my second fav fallout game right behind fallout 4.
To make ur experience the best it can be i recomend a few quality of life mods mainly respawn mods ill linkem bellow With these mods honistly hands down beter then new vegas.

Dont make all containers respawn or it will some main quest loot to be repalced by reguler loot by the time u get to it.
