Early Access Review
I bought the game after hearing about the December update. Hopefully the system works properly without bugs but since it's EA I'm not expecting too much from the game at the moment.

It's very interesting to play The Forever Winter. I didn't expect much from the game as I was just hoping to play a PVE tarkov that was more focused on scavenging than combat. I'm not sure how to describe this game: is there a huge lack of content or is this what all this game is about? It's not a bad thing (and I really enjoyed it) to make the player feel like the victim of war. At the end, that is what the universe is built around - you are just a scav. After spending 10 hours fully grinding up all the credits, reputation, water, and materials for the full base upgrade to keep the base going without requiring me to constantly grind, there's not much to do. Maybe the developers have something in mind for the future, or maybe this is what the game is about.

I think adding water bots and turret system was a good idea for most players that can't play the game much on weeks outside of holidays - like me - so I fully support it. It's great to see that developers are always listening to their player base and understands how to balance their idea of the game to the user's. I'll be looking forward to playing the game more once the next update arrives.
