The game itself I enjoyed but Ubisoft attacked me personally with this one. I bought the deluxe edition and they are taking away access to single player content that i paid for. So I did a 100% run of the game before it was all taken away to get my moneys worth.

I'm not buying any product that uses uplay anymore, actually let me review uplay for a sec.

Back in 2014 I got close to beating far cry 3 but after changing my Uplay username my game save file became corrupted and i gave up, now 8 years later after ubisoft announced the server closure i wanted to do a definitive play through that got all achievements and all possible content in the game.

Me and my friend first off played all the coop maps and it was a total nightmare because the game wouldn't let us join a private lobby. To fix this we had to join a public lobby first then for some reason after that it let us join a private lobby.

The latency and server desync was insane but we made it through and got all multiplayer achievements.

Next I discovered all this time I didn't even have the deluxe edition content enabled, you need to find a extra key in uplay then enter it in an in game options menu before its even activated. why was that even necessary? Cant it just be installed like normal DLC? on top of that you need an internet connection for the DLC to show up in the game which is why its not going to be available, why not deactivate that check?

Lastly there was a couple of uplay reward unlocks that were broken and ubisoft never fixed them so i had to install a mod that unlocked them and then a few mods and config tweaks to make the game even run properly.

Put more games on GOG Ubisoft then i'll buy them.
