I love this game, its definitely one of the best wave based zombie shooters out their especially since cod zombies is absolute crap now but dont expect to make a custom server for you and your friends.

I have absolutely no clue as to how these devs can be so incompetent at how they allow players to make custom servers. I have made servers for gmod, minecraft, terraria (vanilla and heavily modded) and even a few other games but killing floor 2 absolutely takes the cake as the most difficult, frustrating, and obnoxiously sensitive server setup I have ever encountered. The other 3 main games are older and are so much easier to setup!!!! EVEN BEFORE THEIR SERVER SETUPS WHERE STREAMLINED

Cool you did that? Now you need to follow an extremely outdated guide from the devs/community with constant troubleshooting and guide hunting but DONT LOG IN BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THE SERVER FILES!!!!!

Oh, you got it running? Welp you better pray to whatever divine god you bow too because if you add any custom maps, modes, whatever, you have an extremely high chance of either the server not detecting the map, or just straight up having the server disappear and no longer being visible in the server browser (even in the lan tab) another issue with maps is completely random. Sometimes a map will load perfectly, no issues or anything, but the moment you got back to that map after a while, the server will freak out and revert it back to whatever your default map/mode is (or just completely crashing if the map giving you the issue was default)

Again, really good game, amazing game play with really fun maps and replayability. But dont try to host a dedicated server for your friends, you'll only be disappointed and annoyed.

This has some of the worst Hit boxes, hit detection, and parrying mechanics i've ever seen in a metroidvania.

One of the boss fights towards the end is literally unbeatable since she'll randomly lose her hitbox. Also, throughout the game, most of the floating enemies hit boxes are either marginally lower, or higher than their sprites making them a headache to fight.

Hit detection is even worse, Throughout the game, i've had constant issues where my blade has clearly swung, reaching, and going through the enemy with no damage taken(both basic enemies and bosses).

The sliding is extremely clunky, even trying multiple controllers, the cool down was always random on when I could slide, causing me to die multiple times to bosses, and, once again, basic enemies.

And last but not least, the parrying. Oh god the parrying in this game is abysmal. Half of the time it doesnt even register (again, ive tried multiple controllers just in case (this involses KBnM (just in case it felt nice, which it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucked), a ps4 controller, and 2 separate xbox controllers) but they all proved the same, inconsistency and migraines.

Honestly, just wait for the sequal, or download a save with the main campaign finished.

Its a great game, most of these reviews who says otherwise clearly have never played an asian/f2p mmo in the past (or even an arpg for that matter).

TLDR:I was never really into yu-gi-oh but this game is good!!!


I tried multiple times before this (irl cards, duel links and even the vr fangame) but never really enjoyed it till this game came out.

Pros:

The game does a pretty good job at teaching the basics and a bit of the more complex mechanics,

The gacha system/craftingmechanics feel nice in the beginning, but quickly stumble to a slow crawl (I think this depends on skills as the missions are the main source of income and they verry in difficulty...)

Deck Building is good but could be a bit more.

The animations and audio is amazing

The battle pass is free, easy to grind, and pays you back the currency to get it again when the new one drops.

Mixed:

As you climb the ranks of the game, sure you do fight better players, but the decks they use become more static, similar to one another and boring to fight against. (I know its ranked, but you cant really go down, so loosing isnt the end of the world in this game)

Sometimes combat in general feels slow, (the timer feels a bit to long also causing issues)

Cons:

Sometimes players wil just afk until the game auto surrenders them which takes FOREVER since the turn timer is so long.

Sometimes card effects should activate but don't, with no explanation as to why.

You have to run a command in the launch properties (-popupwindow) just so the game launches in full-screen.

The ai in solo can sometimes just break and do some insane single turn combos and just decimate you.

Lastly, the rewards in solos could be better, They are nice, but they could be soo much more.


All in all, its an amazing game to play if you're new or a veteran to yu-gi-oh.

Its literally Gary's mod and Battlefield but offline! (their is an online mod for this game that is alive btw and here on steam!)

Was amazing until they abandoned the steam version. Im thankful to have a rift s so I can buy the updated version through my oculus app but if you have any other headset that is not from Facebook then do not pick this game up as the steam version is multiple updates behind...

If you need a comparison then think of tf2 on the xbox 360 compared to tf2 on pc and thats exactly what you get here abandoned potential.

Honestly, Im mad cause bad. This game gets so hard and im not ready lmao. Its easily one of the best Monkey ball games though!

Fix the ridiculous que times and give us a few bug fixes. and you have yourself a really solid mmo that stands out while being a big contender in the mmo market space.

The game is really fun, definitely early access but still fun. Also don't listen to the spam bot negative reviews. They all mention the same method to delete the anti cheat for the game calling it "Chinese spyware" all because it has access to your root access (even though other anti cheats are known to access the exact same levels.) Trust me, no one cares about you, you aren't special and your information isn't worth anything to these company's in modern times (seriously name one company that steals our info and they don't even have root access its not hard no matter where your from or what you do).

The best part about these fake reviews is also 1 of 2 things:

refusing to show proof or to not even mention proof and making sure comments are disabled on their reviews so no one can call out there paranoid A**

Now here's an actual review of the game:

Pros:
Great graphics

Smooth gunplay and nice abilities to select from

A really well atmospheric map that fits the gunplay well (abilities felt clunky and really hard to use everywhere on the map)
The main hub of the game is really cool (but there is nothing to do in their so it gets really boring waiting for a match)


Cons
(already touched over) Abilities feel to big and just all around bad for the map, Also their isn't any que for passives so you have no idea if they proc at all

(already touched on) The main hub has so much promise and possible fun. Sadly nothing is really intractable in the hub zone so your just stuck there in an empty space waiting to match up)

The game gets a but stuttery at times so their is some improvement for optimization

The gun audio is below average as it can clearly be improved easily

If I had to give this game a percentage rating, then I would give it an easy 85%. Its good in its current release and will only get better with some time.

Its no fortnite killer (sadly) but its a great battle royal to play if your not into battle royals.

Edit: The games still good, but after playing a decent chunk of matches i'm starting to see a spike in blatant cheating so be careful, this could be another warzone. :(
