I have a love hate relationship with this game.

This game is a grind, then again what looter shooter isn't, my gripe is that if you don't immediately get the 5/5 god roll that you are after on your first run of an activity, you'll find yourself in a game play loop that inevitably gets boring and repetitive. World drops are fine and can drop from anywhere, but it's the activity specific weapons that are annoying, take the latest update: Into the Light, I've spent days playing the same activity for hours and still haven't gotten the weapon I want with the roles I want, so unless you've got hours or even weeks to spend, take this as a warning.

I eventually got tired of this game a while back and stopped playing all together, a little after Lightfall, which was an extreme let down, but picked it up again recently, I started out so far behind, things had changed and I felt like a fish out of water. But that's the thing with liver service games, weekly updates, game balancing, metas, if you don't keep up to date on the latest news and updates you will be lost and find yourself on YouTube watching hours of videos trying to figure out what exactly changed. But that won't take you long, there are tons of Destiny creators who love the game and the community who express their feelings and do everything they can to help other players.

But so far I feel like this review is somewhat negative but I don't want it to be, with over 1, 800 hours in this game I can say a few things about it that are good, out of any looter shooter Destiny has the best end game content, whether it's a raid, dungeon, or grand master, the hard stuff is challenging in a good way and you are rewarded for your efforts. Seasonal activities are great especially Into the Light, although I'm growing tired of it cause I'm not getting the weapon I want with the rolls I want I will continue to play. I've also met some of my best friends on this game, friends I still play games with. People still ask me why I still play Destiny, and I only have 1 reason, it's the thrill of chasing that god roll and the feeling you get when it finally drops, there isn't a greater feeling.
