You loose all your stuff when you enter the DLC and since some people hate not being able to run and gun everything they rated it negative without even giving the DLC a fair chance to show what it had in store. i honestly feel sad for them, this is the best DLC i have ever played and it altered how i think about human traits such as greed...

I loved everything about this DLC, and i will tell you about how and why. [Contains spoilers]

How you are stripped of all your status and everything you had when you started it was a bit surprise for me, and it's probobally why the rewievs are mixed... Not everything can be solved with force alone.

[MAJOR SPOILERS]

The story is by far the best thing about this DLC, It tell you NOTHING but it leaves clues scattered all over the place for you to pick up and puzzle together. What are the suits the ghost people are wearing? What is this weird toxic fog? What are the "Breathing" sounds in the background when you are standing outside with your radio off? How did the ghost people become ghost people?
These are all questions i have figured out the answer for but i had to not only play through the Dead Money DLC to figure it out, but also the Old World Blues one, they are connected.

As for the charecters you meet there, I really wanted to take one of them with me back to the mojave but sadly i choulden't... all of them are great and they all have a uniqe backstory that is both interesting and filled with... well ill let you figure it out.

This DLC won't scare the hell out of you, i got scared once through the whole thing and that was mostly because it was super late and i was about to go to bed and since i wasn't paying attention something jumped me... quite litteraly.
