(I have just seen that the remastered version will be out soon and you can't buy this game anymore, so I will put my old review here in English version. Please don't mind my play time since I've finished this game more than 3 times already in the past with my althernative steam accounts)

This is the best JRPG I have ever played. Although the storyline is very straightforward, yet the plot-twisted can make a player feel surprised at the end of the game. What make this game shined a lot are problaby 2-3 things. The side quests, The unique gameplay and maybe the satisfaction you will get from this game. Let's take a look here one by one, shall we?

1. The side quests. The side quests of this game are very remarkable. I couldn't remember the right number of all side quests but there are more than 50 side quests and you will not be bored in doing them. In fact. You will enjoy doing them. Many quests have the "next chapter" of the quest that it can be activated if you have done some specific quests first and you have chosen the right choice. Most quests are related to the heroes' requests in our party, since some of them refuses to join your party without finishing the quest first. Pro tip: don't miss any quests if you can or you will miss some great characters like Duke of Ghor. (Never go wrong with having him as the leader of the tank party with his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ high damage output weapon with a unique weapon art skill)

2. The unique gameplay. I must say it is very great. Imagine like this: Which game that could offer you control the unique characters or heroes, ten or more, to be in your party. Every heroes have their unique appearance and have a vary unique "art"(s) and different skills, eg. Healing skill, Mystic skill, Weapon art skill depends on which weapon type they are expert to use it. (except our main protagonist Rush Sykes since he can learn every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skills in this game) You can place your heroes into a group with max 5 people per group and with max 5 groups to deploy them into the battlefield. While in the planning phase. You can give each group an order what they should do for example: Healing another group. Attacking enemy using brute force (weapon slapping an enemy or just pure magic included the AOE magic that can hurt other group of enemies or the entire battlefield if you set the group's formation with the unlocked requirenent) Adding more moral to our side. And many more. I must say... This is the best fun part you will get from this game.

3. The satisfaction from the game.
- The story especially the ending... We need the sequel for this game for real. Square Enix. You know what to do.
- The relationship of our main character toward other characters eventhough it was just a plain dialog but personally... I like it a lot.
- The dare idea to dispose an important character when you have reached to that storyline caught me while I was off guard, yet it was one of the best cutscene I still could remember from this game.
- The great voice actors/actresses for each characters are very very pleasure me. One character has like 20+ voice lines while he/she is in the battlefield. Especially our main character Rush Sykes will call other characters' name if they get killed in the battlefield.
- The gameplay obviously. Give it a try. Play it until you have to fight some big damn dragons or that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ robot-demigod-human-shape-liked thing or that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying as hell like the "Gate of Hell" (Oh please... I really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the "Bewitch" skill that this thing can manipulate your dead group and force them to kill other groups. Not to mention it gives me a heartbroken feeling everytime that I have to kill that manipulated group by their "friends") and you may like this game that time, or maybe hate it a lot. Your choice.

Overall. I recommend everyone to give it a try (third party websites still sell a steam key version though) or else you have to wait to buy the Remastered version with more price added indeed.

Rush - "Let's do this!"
