It's a cozy and family-friendly platformer Care Bears game, best for children really. The visuals are clean and cute, and the story follows the Care Bears on their adventure to cleanse the land of the bad seed. It has up to 4-player local co-op and you can play with the Care Bear of your choice, each with a unique trait. The gameplay is mostly platforming to collect stars, stickers, with some light shoot 'em ups and mini-games thrown in the mix. It is extremely forgiving with unlimited revives, and was very easy to finish.

Considering the genre and target audience, there's not much else to nitpick or comment on. The only slightly frustrating factor would be having to restart from certain checkpoints upon falling off the map. Having used Grumpy for my entire playthrough to make finding hidden stickers easier, it took less than 4 hours for me to complete the game with 100% achievements, though there wasn't any other incentives for replay after. The experience overall was warm and charming, and I personally think I would've really enjoyed it as a kid.
