Destiny 2 is one of the first person shooters with the best gameplay out there; Bungie certainly knows how to make fps. The gunplay is flawless; there is good weapon variety and abilities, and you can find and match whatever suits your needs and play style.

It looks great, even after all these years. The environments are rich, and each location has a distinctive feature. It is also surprisingly well optimized; a modest PC can run it without problems.

There is plenty of stuff in-game both PvE and PvP; it can be overwhelming for new players who are just thrown into the game to do endgame activities without much explanation. Destiny rides heavily on FOMO; the grind is everlasting. And its more egregious feature, Bungie removes paid-for content after some time; lovely.

The game offers close to zero replay value; you cannot stop and come back later; it's the blessing and curse of "games as a service". If you are into looter shooters and always grinding for something, go for it, but prepare your wallet; if you are more casual and play games for their narrative keep looking.
