This game is a prime example why devs should NOT always listen to the community for feedback. Don't get me wrong, the core gameplay is great and the game although isn't perfect has a lot of charm. HOWEVER, Fatshark has absolutely no idea how to balance classes and weapons. You have a very clear meta that everybody is running and a lot of talents, weapons and perks are straight up garbage and have been under-powered for years.

Now, what do the devs do? Do they buff the underperformers so that we have more build variety? HAHA, NO. Instead, they listen to a very vocal MINORITY of players that are salty that other players are having fun in a PVE game living out their power fantasy and are constantly crying for every even remotely good build to be nerfed. As a result, we have DON'T get any more build variety, we have characters and weapons that all feel like a mediocre, good for nothing, unfun garbage. Mind you, a lot of these careers and weapons were paid. Sister, moonfire bow, I'm looking at you. There are other ways to balance the game without taking away our shiny new (paid!) toys and giving us nothing in return. It just creates toxicity in the community and creates new meta that everybody is running, not variety. Not to mention that when you listen to the "community", you have to keep in mind that your perception will always be skewed because the players that are content with the game are playing the game instead of spending their time complaining on forums.

I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done supporting this game and company. AND I DID PURCHASE ALL THE DLC and a lot of paid skins. Well, you aren't seeing any more money from me Fatshark. It was a good time, but so long.
