I love this game so much. But Ever since the announced extinction all my explorer notes have dissapeared :(

If this is singleplayer, I honestly don't understand your problem, but otherise it was a forced wipe of a server.

well I just saw an explorer note and the words were Yellow for some reason. I got the note and i already had read it. so I looked at my notes and i lost them all.
