I played through most of this 2 years past its release date (having pre-purchased it, but decided to hold off until they fixed it). Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most immersive games I have played in recent memory, largely thanks to the environment details, memorable characters, music and sound design that tickles your emotions, and a compelling main story. I even forgot Johnny Silverhand was played by some big actor.
I do feel there is not much diversity in how you play the game (like a Deus Ex). There is one main mission at the start where there are multiple approaches and ways of doing it, but that is rarely reflected throughout the rest of the game, if at all. This lack of approach diversity is balanced by the huge diversity in combat. There are multiple styles of combat through skill trees, weapons, cybernetic enhancements and quick hacks (magic). Sometimes even a single weapon or cybernetic upgrade you pick up on a whim can impact your play style and skill upgrades for the rest of the game.
Now is a good time to play the game just before the DLC comes out. If you do play it, I recommend going through the main story as far as meeting Keanu Reeve's character before doing any side missions - it'll be worth it.
