Why is everybody complaining if they bought it?

Anyways, I'm mixed on this DLC.

On one hand, these were free for PS4 players if I remember correctly, so why not make it free for us PC players?

On the other hand, the targets are mind-numbingly easy, but you have to remember this was made for 2016, when we didn't have the Sieker, or the Kalmer, or the Fart Briefcase. (my pookie)

The story is hot garbage, it feels like these were scrapped Elusive Targets that IOI went ahead and said "Screw it, we can capitalize off of these" and put together a half-assed story that's just there to make sense. With the exception of the last target, most of the target stories are something along the lines of "Your target is the one guy who shot all the innocent rice farmers in 1996. He is now living a life of luxury and our client doesn't like that, I will leave you to prepare," and then some information about where to find him.

The targets themselves are boring people who (with the exception of Patrick Morgan) can't actually defend themselves for ♥♥♥♥. I understand the dying dude in Hokkaido, but these are supposed to be highly trained mercenaries for Christ's sake. At least allow them to defend themselves or something.

The gameplay itself is about what you would expect. Get in, kill the guy, get out, oh, that's right! Here's one or two extra challenges so you can play it once more again, then what does it give you? Nothing, no suit, no special item, not even a crappy reskin of a weapon or item that we usually get for this kinda stuff.

All in all, you should probably buy this if it goes on sale or something. $5.00 is not really worth it with the current state. Maybe if IOI updates the game to give us some kind of reward for completing it, I'll consider editing this review later, but that's unlikely to happen. I'm only giving it a positive review because IOI has essentially made the perfect game.

These were free on PS4, IOI used the popularity of people asking for it on PC as a reason to charge people $5 for the DLC.
