An excellent remake of an already great game. I can recommend this one without hesitation to anyone interested in a good story-driven horror title.

Like their Terminator game before it, this was a surprisingly quality game for a license I never expected to get one. The shooting is totally competent, the movement feels just right for RoboCop, there's neat exploration and side content, the writing was funny and satirical in ways that fit the setting. Easy recommendation.

Armored Core has always been a great series and I'm glad it's back. Played through it all on both PS5 and PC and had a great time.

Punchy weapons, cool gunplay, fun slow-mo, tons of particle effects, it's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun time.

This game can't decide what it's even trying to be. Is it a large-map realism game where bleeding mechanics and individual magazines matter and it takes a long while to get from A to B? Is it a small-scale arcade shooter where people sprint around and jump all over on maps where there's only really engagements in 3 spots and spawns are abundant? Should people take a lot of hits to kill, or just a few? Should there be strong frontlines where lots of combat occurs and it's noisy and chaos, or should we have nearly non-existent audio so people can get around lines easily? Why not try to answer "yes" to all of these at the same time and leave a total mess of an experience?

A shockingly good little FPS in a license that hasn't had a single good thing since the second movie. It's not the best or longest shooter out there, but the gameplay is fun enough that it kept me entertained the whole time. I was surprised by the open exploration parts which are just big enough to be worth looking around but small enough to be manageable. Aesthetically it's a great representation of the first two films; the graphics won't amaze on a technical level, but they nailed the atmosphere and style, and aside from some weak voice acting, the sounds as well. It's evident by the end of the opening cutscene that they understood what a Terminator game should look like. For a sale price, I'd highly recommend this one if you like the first two movies. I'd love to see another pass at this with a bigger budget and scope.

It's so close to being a good Quake game, but broken parts of it hold it back from greatness. Character balance is out of whack, with a few characters clearly excelling at all roles and some being virtually worthless. Most damning of all, the hit registration is completely messed up. Clear direct rocket impacts are rewarded with 0 damage, rails clip through enemy models for nothing, gauntlets hit from multiple character distances away, sustained LG streams just drop damage ticks for no reason. And these aren't getting fixed, these problems have existed across betas and now in early access.

It's salvagable, but in its current state I cannot recommend this.

A very solid release of a great old game. Turok 2 was a game I played a lot as a kid, and this holds up. It has large levels that you have to explore to find objectives and secrets in, fun and unique weapons, and the combat is still fun today thanks to some surprisingly good animations. Wrap that up with multiplayer, a solid framerate and the modern conveniences you'd expect in a PC shooter, and you have a package well worth the asking price.

I had an absolutely great time with this game and look forward to going through it again on the highest difficulty. I was impressed by how much it managed to actually resemble RE1 but in first-person. There's wacky "find 3 mcguffins to unlock a door somehow" puzzles, backstory files, limited supplies, save rooms, item boxes, a big map you have to explore and backtrack through, and more. I enjoyed the villians here. The Baker family manage to be unsettling without being overbearing about it.

The gameplay is a welcome return to form after the more action-heavy parts of the franchise, but that's not to say there's none here. This absolutely is not a run-and-hide horror game. Combat comes early, and you'll usually have enough ammo to fight if you want to if your aim is good or you were thorough in searching for supplies. Standard enemies will take a few shots to the head, or a single shotgun round, just like you remember. My one complaint with the combat is the bosses; in series tradition, it's incredibly unclear whether you're actually doing damage to them, and sometimes you can go most of a fight wondering "Is this what I'm supposed to do? Is this actually a puzzle? Am I just wasting ammo?" and the answer to that is never clear. This has been a problem in just about every Resident Evil so far, and I really wish they'd figure something out.

Overall, I had a great time exploring, finding puzzle items, fighting off monsters, and hiding from the family. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a good horror game that isn't another YouTube bait jump-scare run-and-hide game, or who is a fan of the old Resident Evil games.

A fantastic little isometric stealth title in the vein of Commandos. There's a lot of great interaction between the character abilities that make it fun to make plans, and they tend to work how you expect. It feels very fair; when you get caught it's almost always very clear what happened and why you screwed up, I never felt as if the game was just being cheap even at tough parts. The graphics aren't amazing in any technical sense, but there's a great style, the colors are vibrant, and there's great variety. It's very nice to see in motion.

There's a demo up to try it, so there's no reason not to at least give it a whirl. I went in expecting nothing and have been incredibly impressed. It's a whole level and potentially two if you're not slow, so you'll definitely get an idea of whether or not it's for you.

Given the level count, I'm a little under halfway through, and given that I expect later levels to be harder, I think 15-20 hours is a reasonable expectation for most players. With how fun it's been the whole time, I think that's a good value. For less than $40, I can heartily recommend this.
