Early Access Review
You get from the game what you put into it. The game is for everyone of all ages above 13, although in the last few years there's been a huge influx in young children into the game which forces a lot of decent older players into private instances.

The game has pretty much everything, want to play a game? check. want to meet people for friendship or more? check. want to find somewhere to sit and relax? check. This "game" is a social platform where you will end up finding yourself.

The staff aren't the greatest, they changed a lot about the game and betrayed the playerbase that caused a lot of players to leave and boycott the game.

The majority of the platform is player created - worlds and avatars. If you play this for at least a year and have a pc, you will likely end up learning how to make these using Unity and/or Blender.

Full of tons of communities and different types of people, even if you are a bit of loner, someone will reach out to you. I came into this game shy and mute, and I ended up leading a community first of chinese then encompassing all to provide mutual support for people with depression, anxiety and just others that were alone and lost. I gained my confidence in this game and also gained self-worth.
Not all experiences will be like my own and it's certainly not the only one I had in VRChat. Life is an adventure and this is like the digital side of life. VRChat is your place to grow, to become your true self, that perhaps real life restricts you. Others explore their sexualities here, such as trialing homosexuality or whatever furries do for "fun".

But be warned that as in life, there is not only good experiences, but bad also. Lying is rampant by those that crave attention or have low self-worth, to do so to fit in. There are also excessive trolls. Pretty much imagine real life but people don't have the restriction of being in their physical body, and when this fact becomes apparent, they feel like they can do anything they want, so you basically end up with lobbies full of toxic people, for those that lean towards malice. On the other side of the coin, there are good natured people dotted around.

Best advice from me is find someone with simiiar interests to you and go and hang out in private instances and explore all the worlds of VRChat, there are some very beautiful and fantastic worlds out there, worlds that will make you not want to exit or take off the VR Headset. Try not to fall into the lull of going to drinking worlds, as they are overpopular with daily drunkards and you will lose yourself into that social side of things. I've lost a few friends to alcoholism who frequented there.

Find the good side of VRChat, it does exist.
Everyday will be a gamble.

Be careful on your travels and keep your head about you.
