--- For the Glory of Mankind ---

The game was played with the in my eyes essential PC FAR patch.
After having played about 100h of this game. I think its time to elevate my thoughts into words.

NieR:A is unique: from its director the "crazy" Genius Yoko Taro to its world, the gameplay variants and unprecedented musik in orchestral and vocal form.
There is no genre it can be confined too, as such its hard to even compare it to anything besides the original NieR and Drakengard Series.
Broken down its an Action, Sidescroller, Platformer, Twinstick Shooter, RPG thats sometimes a Visual Novel and the Bosses have Names and Characteristics of existential Philosophers) and it has the best Soundtrack of any game.

NieR:A is fresh: in a AAA Gaming Market were most games present itself as "Thanks for the 60€! have lackluster content and 20+ Paid DLC"! it's always suprising, simply because Yoko "Happy Ending" Taro dares going direction most games would not even touch

- The "Bad Guys" will not allways die or lose
- The "Good Guys" will not allways survive or succeed
- the Innocents will not be spared

and it breaks genre conventions at every possible moment handling replays of the game as Chapters of a grand Story.
Were you expect the same content but each time you get more until the great reveal of Chapter C.

With NieR you get one of the most complex storys hidden behind a depressing and at first glance silly Universe at least from a Videogame standpoint that can only be told in a video game format.

Nier:A is an experience: This game loves to prove people wrong who think they know how the game will progress and that is so statisfying not knowing what can happen,Were the orginal lacked in the combat with NieR:A Platinum is on Board and the combat is so much better its fast, fluid and brutal. The amount of tiny detailed animations in everything your characters does speaks on a level of detail most game don't even bother with now a days.

The level of escalation from the 2nd play through to the 5th ending is one insanely special experience. NieR:A will make you feel emotions that are extremely hard to put down easily into words. After the original NieR (PS3 Gestalt Version) this is my game of the century. Essential!

"Join for the the best animated android butt, stay because nobody is allowed to leave Yoko Taro's wild ride once they get on board."

No other game besides the original NieR has asked me as the player of the game, not as the player of the game character to make the ultimate sacrifice at the end.
