As an example, I could take all of your information right now and copy paste it into my profile. So then let's say you wanted to report me. Would you just copy paste whatever I had in my profile and end up reporting yourself? You have to look at their profile URL directly, thats the only unique thing that differentiates steam accounts. Accusing an innocent person of scamming does have a negative effect on them, correct. You did not take his details directly. You simply just copy pasted what was on his profile, which is my information. Taking details directly means looking at the url bar for their profile url.
