Game is super fun, but I do not recommend getting into it if you have no dlcs and can't get them all for a decent price on something like humble bundle. So much mechanics are in them that it's hard to even play mods without them. The game has a super slow learning curve, with the community saying things like 1,000 hours is when you complete the tutorial (I'm about half way as I write this). Still, there's something so satisfactory when you conquer your rival neighbor. Or win that one battle that stack wipes your rival.
