This game can feel pretty damn demoralizing at times (especially at the higher Ascension levels) but once you beat it, it feels super rewarding. There can be a bit of a learning curve if you're unfamiliar with deck builders (as I was before I started playing) but you began to get the hang of it after a couple runs. I like the diversity of playstyles each different character offers and the interesting card synergies you can experiment with. I'm still pretty bad at this game but I have fun, nonetheless. Also, the music for the heart is pretty beautiful.
