Absolutely awesome game, with narrative depth that keeps you engaged. Lots of individual relations between characters, and an overarching plot that actually makes sense in almost every way. Deacon seems to be one of the most grounded protagonists, through the good and bad of what a human being is.

This is my second play-through, and finished it on Playstation already. The PC upgrade (maybe subjectively) is awesome, with better looking graphics and a consistently smooth 60+ fps. (i7-10700k, 2070 super)

I don't have a single character that I wouldn't like more story from (besides maybe Tucker), and I wish there was a little more interaction with the Mechanics/repair technicians you encounter throughout the beautiful Oregon map. The very final missions at a certain mountain seem a little rushed, but do not detract from the overall ending. Each character has a trope they tend to follow, but they still provide surprises with every turn. Relationships seem natural, if not a little dramatic at some points.

Overall a phenomenal game, and I am in the crowd wishing for a Days Gone 2. Might even push me to buy a PS5 if/when a sequel is made. That, and Demon Souls.

Also, ♥♥♥♥ Skizzo.
