In terms of 3D Puzzle games, its definitely enjoyable, I'd give it a 7/10. The game has some very beautiful moments, it makes some interesting points, and the puzzle mechanics are very creative and build upon the first Talos Principle in a great way. You can tell the team behind this cared to improve upon the success of the first game, and they succeeded, for the most part.

The very, very large caveat- the one area this game is worse in, is the puzzles (which is a big deal for a puzzle based game!) Compared to the first game, the puzzles are way, WAY easier. The first game had a very notable difficulty curve, with the end puzzles being significantly harder than the early ones. Completing a very difficult puzzle came with a real sense of satisfaction. But that difficulty just doesn't exist in this game. Only on a singular puzzle did I spend a substantial amount of time (~15 minutes total), and part of the issue was a didn't distinguish a color correctly. The puzzles just don't get hard the same way, they instead only get harder within the world, then jump back down massively in the next as they introduce a new puzzle element. Blitzing through puzzles in a minute just doesn't return that satisfaction. I found myself more just walking around the map to find things and talking with people, which were both cool, but not the coolest part of the original- the puzzles! It sucks too, all of the tools they added in for puzzles legitimately seemed very intriguing. They were just never put together and utilized in a way that created a challenge.

Hoping, sincerely, that the difficulty is raised in the DLC.

jmtb02 played such a major role in getting into computer games in my life. This game is a nice bit of nostalgia and remaster of so many of those original games. Everything looks a bit more polished than the old games. The game is not perfect- I ran into some crashes, bugs with saves, times where I needed to reload. But overall, I would recommend it, particularly if you played these games a long time ago.

For the cost, the game is fair. But overall, the game is not much more than an animated wallpaper unfortunately, in my opinion. The mountain sits there, you can play piano to it, and it is occasionally hit with objects. Sometimes, the world will end. But that's about it.

I have had some issues with corruption, seemingly. When I click objects on my savefile, they no longer bounce like they do on a normal mountain. Sometimes, the objects coming towards my mountain will freeze very far away and not fall into the mountain. The only remedy I've found to both of these issues is to restart the game, but they will reappear not long later.

I bought this game in part due to the high number of hours I saw many people had, but I realize now that it is in part due to the achievement that requires ~1000 hours in game, which I assume most people will get by idling. I wouldn't put to much stock in play time when deciding whether or not to purchase the game.

Obviously great game, has been out long enough that I think everyone is well aware of what the game is like. Not anything I can add.

Horrible, horrible community. There are of course friendly people, and they are easy enough to find when playing anything cooperative. If you have interest in anything versus, though, you are likely going to be constantly kicked, berated, and without any real kind of feedback. The experience has been overall horrible, the worst from any game I've ever played. I understand why people may feel frustrated, but if I am not given any feedback and instead am just kicked over and over, I'm just going to stop playing. This is probably why there are so few games running at any time at this point.
