Early Access Review
After having a very successful loot run with friends on the 'stable build', we fix up a car (Literally a Sedan template and we get the wheels, battery, spark plug and all.) we're driving to hide our car before we DC and the 'stable build' we lightly tap a small obstacle, I think a minor bollard sign at around 2-3mph and the car flies up in the air, doing flips and ♥♥♥♥, hysterical at the time, it hit me... it's been four years and on this 'stable build' after two days worth of looting and scavenging, the car goes 40ft in the air after lightly tapping a bollard and we die.

Do not purchase this game, even now that it's on sale. It's a buggy mess and do not get me started on the machine gun hitting zombies which deal the damage at the start of their animation instead of the end.

Five years.

Here's hoping with Beta there's some good stuff.

I understand that this is probably the case, but when compared to Arma III where it's not really a survival game much to say (depending on mode played), but for me I usually play KOTH and if I were to have the same occur on Arma III, I wouldn't be out thirteen hours and have to start fresh, I know I was most likely going to die at some point in DayZ, but I'd of prefered it be by a legit source; player, zombie, environmental hazard (not this kinda hazard lol) or anything else but a bug. If I recall it was said in a dev diary they were working on a new engine, 2ish years ago but only have I gotten back into DayZ, just a shame to have alot of time wasted due to a bug, nothing really rewarding for me in that regard compared to dying in a 'real' way.

This problem has nothing to do with the development of the game, this is a problem with the game engine. This happens in Arma III as well, as they both run on the same engine. It's an unfixable problem on this engine.
