The controls are very clunky for how precise the movements you have to make are, which makes this platformer quite hard, but mostly from that. The rest of the difficulty comes from some pretty wicked level design sometimes, and a few kaizo traps (falling spikes, which are positioned to always kill you if you don't know they're there and don't look at all different from normal until they fall), which are mildly obnoxious.

Anyway I got it for free and feel I was overcharged. The music is pleasant, though.

Quest for the Golden Candelabra is basically a demo of Dawnsbury Days that includes the first of four chapters of that game's campaign in a more limited fashion - which isn't that clear from the store page, since Dawnsbury Days is called a "sequel" here.

Regardless, it's very solid for a small indie studio's game - though a bit easy on the normal difficulty - and a very high quality adaptation of the PF2 rules. It's pretty short and simple, with a fixed level-1 party that doesn't level up (though they get some equipment upgrades) over the course of the adventure, which took me about 30 minutes on Normal. It'd maybe take twice that at most on Hard if you were having trouble.

This is getting a thumbs-up, but it's really not recommended - only because the same adventure is included in an improved edition in Dawnsbury Days, so while this is cool to check out, you should probably just play the "sequel" game.
