Please for the love of god play this game. play it all the way through to the very end. to the actual end. this game needs to be experienced by all and is art that should be preserved for as long as computers exist. also, avoid spoilers at all costs for the best experience. the gameplay, puzzles, worldbuilding, artstyle, music and absolutely the story are all absolutely on point.

also, about difficulty (which is selected in the options menu as "combat difficulty" or something):
i personally played on survival difficulty with the revised inventory (as i am familar with survival horror and even the old re1 style) and i just want to warn you that the difficulty is definitely no joke. i would recommend it to everyone if they can muster up the courage to play at this difficulty as while the game is definitely hard as you have to plan your every bullet and every route, you never will be locked out of progressing due to not enough items unless you REALLY ♥♥♥♥ up due to certain fallback systems in place. the struggle really works hand in hand with what the game is going for.

enough of that, the more you read reviews, the more potential to spoil yourself. buy the game, play it (for reference, it took me 16 hours to beat), thank me later.
