I really enjoy warframe, but it's just tiresome sometimes.

I get that a game shouldn't provide instant satisfaction, and have some sort of challenge to it, but warframe has begun to feel like a huge waste of time after a while.

1. Content locked behind timed items

I'm really tired of having all of the resources I need, or all of the pieces to an item built, just to figure out it's probably gonna take me like 3 entire days to start working on something else I need to finish said item.

2. Tired of gathering resources

I don't mind gathering a reasonable amount of resources, but after seeing all the needed materials for railjack, it's completely discouraged me from playing altogether, even struggling to keep up with my weekly stuff to try and raise my rank with fortuna and cetus.

3. Weapons progression seems bonked.

I have a pretty OP loadout which uses the opticor vandal, the atomos, and a custom zaw.
This is the first loadout I have gotten after only having pretty sub par weapons that struggled with everything.

4. Warframes becoming obsolete

In an attempt to try and keep the community involved with the game, they have made a lot of warframes, but a few of the frames feel like they only have niche uses. Even then, some of the other frames trivialize the ones that aren't even bad.

5. Monetization

I understand it's a f2p game and most of these options could be apart of the marketing strategy to keep their head above high waters. However, if they could just try something besides making us do these horrible grinds each update to get a sliver of content, I would be much happier. I mean there are still quests involving archwings that no one really wants to do because archwing missions are still kind of ass. I would be totally fine with them trying some new forms of monetization if they get rid of the time gating and add content to fill that time instead of making us wait or ♥♥♥♥ around in game until it's done.

I am once again having fun with warframe and have finally got a Railjack set up, tried the kuva lich content, and still am very aware of the prior things I have addressed.

Besides the major time sink, and the concerns over warframes becoming obsolete; I really do enjoy this game. It has a fairly friendly community, content creators that are wonderful at helping new players understand and get some solid ground in terms of how to play. Some weapons can be fun, and the new helmith ability swapping provides some cool builds to toy around with. Necramechs feel like they have given arch weapons purpose, and the game feels overall like it's on a pretty good path from what I have played recently.

A personal shout out to leyzargaming for being my go-to content creator anytime I look at weapons in game and want to understand what makes them good.
