I've played a lot of games during these past years but NieR:Automata is definetly the best. I've already compeleted the game on ps4 twice but i thought it's time to max the achievements on steam. Unfortunatelly i can't play on highest graphics bc my pc isn't that strong but 2B's butt still looks good :)
Now for the actual review. This game looks amazing it has really beautiful graphics.
The soundtrack is mesmerizing! I - personally - haven't played any games that had a more fitting and enjoyable soundtrack. Every place's or boss battle's themesong is just a perfect place. Sometimes I stop for a few minutes just to listen to the music.
The story is really enjoyable with some twists that were - for me at least - totally unexpected.
As for gameplay, playing with a controller is quite easy after you get the hang of it, and i haven't tried it with mouse and keyboard, though I have a feeling it'll be a bit more challenging this way.
I guess the only "negative" thing I can say is that it is an open world game, but for me the whole map felt just a little bit tiny.
Now to close it all up, this is the best game in my heart and it'll most likely stay this way, and I would recommend this game to anyone who likes hack-and-slash RPGs. I can promise you that you'll have a blast playing with this. 10/10
