Early Access Review
After almost 200h of Kards I have decided to give my verdict and I am very sorry to say that I am severely disappointed.

I have played Kards since it's closed Beta and so have played it through Its stages of development. I must say that it is very sad to see how this game, which had so much potential at the beginning, has been screwed up.

At this point, I can not recommend getting into KARDS because:

- Completely broken Balancing between Beginner Decks / Kards and advanced cards. This goes as far as you have 0% Chance to beat someone with a competitive Deck using a beginners Deck even though new players do face these seasoned players (RIP NEW PLAYERS)
- Completely broken Balance between New DLC cards and old cards
- Severely Broken Balance between unit cards and Order Cards. Way too powerful booster cards to make units stronger and way too powerful destruction cards to compensate...
- Way too low focus on the UNIT VS UNIT engagement - Example removement of the AA / AT Gun mechanic which added so much dept to unit vs unit combat.
- Units that can only be destroyed with order cards but are super powerful (Brittish deal 1 dmg for playing order card for example)

As should be obvious these things are only my opinion and I hope the Devs work things out so I can change this review in the Future but the game at this moment is just no fun. You either win by using some cheesy OP thing or you lose to someone doing some cheesy OP thing. Either you crush enemies that have no chance or you get crushed. I maybe had every 20th game a match that actually was fun but most of the time KARDS just frustrates me until I shut it off again.

"Way too low focus on the UNIT VS UNIT engagement"

So much YES.
The best matches I had were non gimmick, no OP cards, unit vs unit with some limited non OP buffs.

that's a 1 in 10 match. Normally it is gimmick deck which is unfun to play against - and even unfun to play with.
