I guess the one advantage of this versus downloading it directly from the retroarch website is Steam features like time tracking, visible screenshot sharing, etc. You can import other retroarch cores not included in the Steam version too. Its a hell of a collection of emulators and since I own every game ever( just stored in a storage shed in Switzerland), it makes it super convenient to play what I assure you are my "very legal backups."
