Oh yes, I do like this game, but the Creation Club is a real bad idea.
Unfortunately this seems to be the only way to get these bloody publishers to stop getting their grubby mitts off my hands.

You know, I suppose you're right. Just because you review a game negatively doesn't mean you aren't also still enjoying it personally, and it will get attention when done en masse. Everyone's free to protest in their own way, so maybe this will garner the attention.

Well other than setting up a petition (because we both know that wouldn't work) review bombing is the only feasable way of showing how I don't agree with their practices. The GTA mod debacle was quite ham handed i'll grant you but it was really quite effective.

Essentially this all boils down to how each of us decide to go against this system, because I know that there are going to be plenty of people willing to pay a bunch of money to play mods. If I just sit back and let it slide then it's not gonna go away at any rate.

Don't get me wrong. Creation Club sucks. Paying for mods should be a donation kind of thing. Mod creators deserve money for their work sometimes, but it shouldn't be part of a corporate thing. I see why Bethesda wants money for offering the tools and the game, so I understand WHY they want a cut, but ultimately it's not the best way to go for the consumers.

That being said, review brigading the game that everyone already owns isn't really the way to go. If the Creation Club makes no profits, it's VERY reasonable to believe it would be considered a failure and not be attempted again.

Bethesda WILL NOT remove the ability to use free mods in their games going forward. To do so would be akin to suicide. People can vote with their wallets AND still enjoy this game and the thousands of free mods available.

You seem to misunderstand the problem, this isn't a personal problem, it's a matter of the industry as a whole. Why is this getting a marginally free pass when Steam paid mods got ransacked by the gaming community? It isn't right dude.

Easy solution: Don't buy the CC mods. Just use the free ones. It's so simple.
