It PAINS me to give this game a negative review since I adored the first game so much. If I could I would rate this as a middle thumbs, if you played and enjoyed the first game give this one a go but don't expect as much from it.
The missions are repetitive, or just straight up pointless fecth quests, the controlls somehow feel even worse in this one than the first game and the whole game just overstays it's welcome, should have been WAAY shorter without the useless padding. For whatever reason managing the toolbox is more painful than in any resident evil game, and just a tip for the otherworld sections, fist fight the enemies, it's honestly much more effective way to deal with them. The charm from the first game is gone in this one, don't get me wrong I still like York but most of the characters just feel 'quirky' for the sake of being over the top, sure the first game had it's similar moments but for me this game looses all seriousness because of it. The world feels and looks empty, you don't get the need to explore any of it. At least it runs better than the first game but this isn't saying much if you tried the pc port. A bit about the ending chapters seriously what the absolute ♥♥♥♥ was the last two episodes?? Episode 3 was so anticlimactic, I genuinely thought I somehow skipped a boss fight or something since there isn't ONE and episode 4 was just confusing as hell, they just shoehorn in a last twist, it's all so weird...

It's a miracle on it's own that this game even exists (I mean this in a good way) but the actual game we got is such a disappointment it saddens me so much, I'm still gonna love the first game but I'd rather forget this one is a thing :(
