I wanted to love this game, but regrettably it falls flat on its face as you approach the conclusion.

The game makes you consider your words carefully as your actions have sometimes long-lasting consequences. I like managing relationships and learning about the personalities and quirks of each character, but towards the end of the game it feels like none of that matters. The final act felt rushed and unfinished, and it plays like a movie since you basically have no agency on what happens.

I'll still review this game positively because I enjoyed it, but there was definitely a lot of untapped potential here.

An absolutely S tier puzzle game. A must-buy if you're into Zach-likes.

This game is excellent on all fronts. If you're looking for a co-op puzzle game look no further.

It's a decadent experience for any CRPG nerd, but overwhelming at times. There's so much depth and complexity in this gargantuan game that you can spend hours tailoring your characters and still feel like you didn't consider everything. Combat can be tiring if you're trying to micromanage a 5 character party, but it is very rewarding. Story-wise there's abundant freedom of choice and the choices feel like they matter. The graphics are gorgeous save for the janky player models.

Hades has to be one of the most refined rogue-lites so far.

Everything about this game is good. During the first escape attempt, I already knew I was playing a game that was special. Hades is a game that makes you want to play it again and again -- something that can't be said for a lot of the games in this genre.

There's a lot of content. Until about 100 hours in I received several new, voiced dialogues (by amazing voice actors) every run, a lot of it advancing the plot or developing the characters in a meaningful way. The difficulty curve is just right. The game gets progressively easier the more you play, but you never feel artifically held back. If you want to challenge yourself, you can increase the difficulty or do speedruns.

To not appear as a total shill for Supergiant Games, I'll say that I wish there were more unlockable levels, enemies and bosses. There could also be more viable boon and keepsake combinations to work with. After 100 hours it feels like I've exhausted most of the options.

Hades is easily the game of the year for me. It's well worth the price and everyone I've recommended it to have loved it.

This game has clever, funny storytelling coupled with an attribute system that lets you play the game and interact with others in any way you like. It all works like a well-oiled machine. Every choice matters, but you can -- and you're even encouraged to -- be as wild as you want.

The main negative impressions I had were towards the voice acting which was pretty poor in the first areas but fortunately got better later on. For how much worldbuilding the game had, the ending felt a bit rushed and unsatisfactory, and I wish the game explored more of the world. That said, I got 43 hours out of it, so no complaints there.

Disco Elysium is one of the best RPGs I have ever played. Here's hoping for part two.

This game feels like a massive grind. The enemies, items and bosses are well designed, but the game is very short. After you beat the final boss you're just supposed to keep doing it again and again but it's harder. That's not good game design in my book.

A masterpiece. The visuals, music and storytelling of this game are fantastic. It's difficult enough to keep your interest but you never truly feel stuck. When you think you've exhausted every option there is, you just might find a new clue.

I want to like this game, but some gamebreaking bugs made me lose interest.

I genuinely think Project Hospital has potential to be a great game, but there are a lot of kinks that need to be ironed out first. I feel like this game should've released as an early access title, because it feels like one.

If you're on the fence about buying this game, wait a while until it matures. The developers seem to be working hard on fixing bugs and implementing new features, so this game will only get better.
