There has been multiple steam accounts that have been impersonating me by copying my profile name, profile picture, and elements from my profile. These impersonators have attempted to aggressively manipulate other users out of items, as well, some impersonators have been sending phishing links.

Impersonation is a common scammer tactic, so be aware that veteran and reputable traders on steam most likely have scammers impersonating them. If you get a friend request from a user that acts suspicious, please report that steam profile!

To help verify a user you can always check the account's Steam ID, by copying and pasting the steam profile URL into the search bar on http://rep.tf (my rep.tf page https://rep.tf/76561197972353065 )
If you don't have Steam URLs enabled on steam, you can enable it by, on clicking on..
“Steam -> Settings -> Interface,” then tick the box that says “Display Steam URL address bar when available.”
