i feel like the decision to make as little vendors in the tower as possible was a bad idea. we should have more for direct goals to attain LOOT and for hardcore players another sense of Progression,

ik, I was addressing the issue about fanboys shilling the games and I definitely agree to most if not all of your points. As well as that I felt so frustrated considering the inability of the dev to fix all these issues and some ppl white knighting the game, making destiny 2 warframe 2.0.

I'm not crying about the game. The things I listed are the problem with the current state of the game. Yes, there's plenty of things to do for casual players, but there's its a stale end game this season. Yes, Trials of Osiris, Grandmaster Nightfall(soon tm), Garden of Salvation, Legendary lost sectors and what not count as an endgame, as well as competitive pvp, each of them has a very underlying problem. The game also has a rising problem of loot incentive.

I love the game the same as any other Destiny fan. I will continue to support Bungie and their efforts to support the game. However, it is because I love the game that I can not recommend the game to anyone looking for a grind out a MMORPG. There's simply nothing to grind for in a PVE sandbox that revolves around Recluse, the same as it has been since the introduction of recluse. However, if you are a casual player that simply needs a game to enjoy, by all means, I'd recommend it.

if you don't like it then don't play it. Seriously if you feel like you writing a bad review do so and move along but don't keep complaining about it.

Part 2

About that "2 years to get it right"? I'm surprised no one has made the connection with Bungie's statements as to why this season has got no ritual weapons. I think if they did do worked on Trials of Osiris for 2 years, they wouldn't be needing to cut development work on this season's ritual weapons. Makes more sense that they had to make Trials as a last minute decision seeing as how barren of content this season is and they could not afford another drop in players the likes of Curse of Osiris.

Wouldn't that made more sense as the mode itself with all the current gears are a straight up port from D1? It has becoming increasingly clear that the current season models are made to be as Minimum Viable Product as possible, operated by a skeleton crew while the the rest of Bungie's A Team led by Joseph Staten (which directed Forsaken) to work on that new Chinese IP Matter or Destiny 3.

This is a great review without getting too technical with keywords as to might confuse new players looking to play D2, but also provides the necessary information as to what's going on right now and what might happen to the future of D2. Besides that, I wanted to push another point that has been overlooked and might just be a glimpse to the true nature of Bungie. I'm talking about Trials of Osiris.

Trials of the Nine has been put on hiatus ever since the end of Warmind as Bungie stated "We are putting trials on an indefinite hiatus and we wanted to get it right", added to that they also mentioned "You don't want the trials in D1 to be in D2". Now what do we get after 2 years of trying to get it right? The exact trials from D1 with the same armor and guns from D1, with the only thing new is a perk "Celerity" and loads of trial-themed exotic ornaments/skin locked behind Eververse. If this doesn't tell you Bungie's priority right now, then the following point might.

On the PvE side bungie said: "we want you to play your way and feel powerful the way you prefer with builds and weapons" what they actually meant is "we're gonna make you use every single weapon class bc you'll need it to get xp in a decent amount even if 99.9% of them are complete garbage; about builds, well we tried in season of the undying but since some of them were actually good we're going to make 90% of the following season's mods crap since you shouldn't be too powerful".
