As expected, Larian quickly dished out a hot"fix", disabling cross-saving on the game. It ain't a definitive fix, but at least it'll hopefully prevent more issues with people loosing hours of playtime for now.
To also add, I throughly enjoy this game and recommend it highly. Others can say it better, but this game is a clear prime candidate for the GOTY title this year. I'd still suggest for people to wait at least a week until the first patch has hopefully been rolled out, but it's definetly worth the price tag.
Ps: Thanks for the clown awards, imma buy myself something nice with the points while knowing this review helped people be aware of the issues currently in the game :3c

This is just a temporary thumbs down, but it is a necessary one.
BG3 CURRENTLY HAS A BUG THAT PREVENTS ANY KIND OF AUTO- OR MANUAL SAVING.
A good chunk of people have this problem, and everyone should be warned that right now, it is possible to lose all your progress because you didn't realize that this bug was active.
I'm sure a hotfix tomorrow will fix this problem, but until then, I'd recommend for people to either watch out for this bug or delay their purchase entirely for a couple of days. Y'all really don't need to do as I did and lose several hours of progress because of this.

lol you realize they wrote this review yesterday? It wasn't fixed when they wrote the review, they said it'll most likely be fixed the following day which it was, and they said they'll change their review to a thumbs up when it is fixed. How people can be so blind to what they're reading is beyond me.

Now they just have to fix the bloody RNG and really add D&D to this game with normal explanations as half of the mechanics is just lost, and unneeded one that is killing the immersion is added(like rolling the dice)

Haven't had that problem yet and I can both save and load just perfectly. Do note that if you played early access, *all* of early access files(even savefiles etc) needs to be deleted before playing the released version as it might interferr and give you bugs as you describe.
But if you haven't played the early access version and are experiencing this off the bat, then you might want to reinstall the game. Sounds like certain files might be corrupted or the likes. GL :)
